Singapore Hotels Expected to be in Short Supply for the Grand PrixWhether you wish to stay in a 5 star luxury hotel located near to the Singapore Formula One street circuit or in one of hundreds of budget hotels located in various other parts of the city, our advice is to make your reservation early! Hotel rooms in all price ranges are expected to be in short supply for the F1 Grand Prix, so much so that there is even talk of bringing in a number of floating hotels especially to accommodate the huge number of visitors that are expected to arrive in The Lion City for this spectacular championship event.
Hotels in the Marina Bay area, some of which will have rooms with a view over the circuit, are most likely to be the first to sell out. You can expect to pay a premium for a room overlooking the race circuit. It is also anticipated that an additional levy is to be applied to room rates for hotels located near to the race track. If you intend to spend a few days vacation in Singapore for shopping or sightseeing in addition to watching the Grand Prix you may wish to choose a hotel away from race circuit. City CentreStaying at a hotel in the City Centre will suit you well if you are looking to combine your Grand Prix experience with shopping and sightseeing. Regardless of which of the above areas you wish to stay in when you visit Singapore to watch the F1 Grand Prix, you are likely to be located no more than a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the race circuit area in Marina Bay.
